Nate Rocks is at it again…

The highly anticipated third installment of the Nate Rocks series is here!

According to Nathan Rockledge, fifth grade has plenty of perks. Oh sure, there’s more work and that know-it-all, Lisa Crane, is still around – but, there’s a lot to look forward to as well: a laser tag birthday party, baseball at recess, and even a cool Halloween dance. Of course, all of that means nothing without the biggest perk of all . . . the class trip to New York City in the spring. If Nathan’s class can raise enough money to go, that is.

Give Nathan paper and a pencil and watch as his imagination turns him into Nate Rocks, hero and fifth grade super star. With adventures abound, Nate saves the day time and again. But will Nate be able to save the fifth grade trip?

Join Nathan, his hilarious family, and his friends, as he rocks the school in another fun Nate Rocks adventure.

Today, Nate is stopping by with a wonderful guest post!

Living in “Nate World”
Hey everyone – it’s me, Nathan! So today’s the last day I’m posting for this really cool virtual book tour I’ve been on, and I wanted to talk about what it’s like to be able to transform myself from Nathan Rockledge, regular old fifth-grader, to Nate Rocks awesome and super cool fifth-grader.
Here’s the scoop: whenever I get my hands on a piece of paper and something to write with, I start drawing and daydreaming – before I know it, I’m Nate Rocks! My mom calls it “Nate World,” and sometimes I get in trouble for doing it, like if I’m supposed to be doing my homework instead or something. But most of the time, it’s just really cool to be able to dream about being a hero or a racecar driver or even a star baseball player. You see – there are no limits. As Nate Rocks, I can accomplish anything!
You can do it, too! You don’t even need to be an artist or anything. Just start doodling and thinking up cool things that you’ve always wanted to do, like being a rock star or an astronaut. Then, just let your imagination take over – before you know it, you’ll be capturing international art thieves, just like I do in Nate Rocks the School. The coolest part of the whole thing, though, is that it helps you learn that you can do awesome & cool things without the daydreams! Pretty deep for a fifth-grader, huh? But trust me, it’s true!
So remember two things – (1) You don’t have to be a super-hero to accomplish some great stuff, and (2) Don’t get in trouble … oh and (3) If you do get in trouble – we never had this conversation. Got it?
Good luck!
