When it comes to fairy tales, sometimes I really like them, and sometimes I don’t. I like a lot of the classic ones, but when they turn sappy or really strange, then I am through reading them.
As I looked through books I have read that might have some fairy tale tie-ins, I found the following ones (click on the picture to read my review on goodreads)
You will probably notice that only this last one has a 5-star rating–I warned you about my taste in fairy tales! Maybe I am too jaded or expect more realism. Not all of these have fairies in them (okay, none of them do), but I feel all would be loosely tied to fairy tales in some way. Actually, there’s another one I just thought of which also received a 5-star rating.
