Ronald Reagan
This happened during my lifetime, and I remember President Reagan’s stirting words on this date in 1987.  He made that famous statement, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down your wall.” Although I do not recall when, this eventually happened.

    I remember this vaguely… I was 7 at the time but didn’t really understood the whole context. God bless Ronald Reagan, he was a wonderful man!
