As a blogger, I get a chance to work with wonderful companies, and I am pleased that Free Country offered to send me the following item for review. They wanted my honest opinion in exchange for it, which I was more than happy to provide.
Free Country is a company that has been around since 1990. Men’s functional and fun outerwear and activewear. The founder’s wife joined the company, and then the women’s line was added. In 2008, they added a swimwear line. They are headquartered in New York, but you can find them at various retailers throughout the U.S., Canada, and New York.
As I picked out my item for review, I was so happy to find a jacket. It has been years (probably from some time back in elementary or middle school) since I got a new coat or jacket. I normally got a coat secondhand or handed down to me. So I got used to coats that I didn’t really like and that did not fit well. I was excited to get the chance to try a new jacket!
I love the colors, and the jacket is incredibly stylish. I was afraid that the coat wouldn’t fit me because I have never worn a fitted jacket. But I’ll let you decide how well it fits me.
The jacket is lightweight but lined. And when it says it repels water, that is no joke. It rained yesterday, and this jacket kept me from getting wet. And moments after coming inside, the jacket was dry! I love the inner pockets because my keys are always safe. I used to have my keys falling out of my other pockets.
I have to say that I am sold. This company will be the one I go back to the next time I need a jacket!
