I am posting the song that Alan Jackson wrote and sang about this tragedy. It is a significant song for me because it is when I came face to face with the feelings I had stuffed down concerning my ex. Yes, I remained married to him for another three years or so after this event. I didn’t want to face what he had said. To say that the terrorists were justified in the attacks they carried out really hurt me. When a good friend introduced me to this song, I cried. And my mom and I saw Alan Jackson live, and I was so glad he sang this song. However, this song was actually met with discontent at his concert. I was rather shocked at that. Oh, and Taylor Swift did cover this song at one of her concerts, and it did not go well for her either. I don’t really understand, but I will post the video here. May we never forget!
