There have been a number of controversial Nobel Peace Prize winners, but this one was pretty intriguing. On this date in 1986, author and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel won this prestigious prize. It is quite fitting since he has devoted his life to there not being a repeat of this horrific time in our history.
