For those who love the Beatles (I like some of their stuff, honestly), today is a special day. On this date in 1966, the Beatles performed their final official concert together. It was in Candlestick Park in San Francisco, and they knew this was it. Interestingly enough, it is this historic park that will be demolished next year. You might have heard of Paul McCartney’s appearance at a final performance there a couple of weeks ago.
“Don’t bend; don’t water it down; don’t try to make it logical; don’t edit your own soul according to the fashion. Rather, follow your most intense obsessions mercilessly.”
— Franz Kafka
