TEAS’ TEA® Review

Tea's TeaWhen the weather is nice (because there are still nice days during the fall), there is nothing like having a glass of iced tea.  But who has the time to make iced tea and get the right flavor?  When you buy traditional bottled tea, you never know what you might get.  It is probably safe to say that you will get a lot of stuff in your tea that is not natural and healthy for you.  TEAS’ TEA® is different, and I was so glad that I was sent some of their tea in exchange for my honest opinion.

TEAS’ TEA® is an all natural, ready-to-drink tea, named from the Japanese expression Ocha no Naka No Ocha, which means “The Tea of ALL Teas!” For ten years, the company has been a leader in the unsweetened tea market, and its filtering system ensures a clean drink.   TEAS’ TEA is sold nationwide in conventional, natural & specialty stores and online at www.amazon.com and www.itoen.com for $1.99 per bottle.

TEAS’ TEA Cares
1.    New re-design of Teas’ Tea® bottles reduce carbon footprint and is now the lightest bottle in the ‘ready-to-drink’ beverage industry weighing only 18.7 grams, compared to standard plastic bottles in the industry of 24 grams.
2.    Reducing packaging is a company goal. By choosing recyclable plastic bottles (PET 1) over glass, the company has been able to save in fuel expenses and reducing the carbon footprint.
3.    Recognized for their recycling tea leaf program, ITO EN has been awarded the Grand Prize by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan and the Environment Minister’s Prize for developing eco-friendly products made from used tea leaves. A variety of products ranging from vending machines and public benches have been a part of the company’s recycling CSR activities.

I received the grape half & half, mint unsweetened, and jasmine unsweetened.  I really love the mint!  In fact, my stomach was upset when I got home, and this helped settle it.  I have not tried the other flavors yet, but judging by previous review, I can just about guarantee that I will like the grape.  I will probably have put some sweetener in the jasmine tea, but I was amazed that I didn’t need to do that with the mint.  The flavor is pretty good even though it is unsweetened.  Indeed, their teas are much better than the cheaper varieties of bottled teas that will find in the stores.

Be sure to follow the company via social media.  They just ended a big sweepstakes promotion, and following them via social media will ensure that you get the early scoop on these kinds of promotions.
