I have used garlic presses in the past, and I never liked them. I gave up and just started buying garlic that was already crushed and kept it in the refrigerator. I can’t stand peeling garlic, and usually the press can’t even crush the garlic the way I want to. I didn’t expect this garlic press to be any better.
Much to my surprise, this garlic press was an absolute breeze to use! I was able to put an entire unpeeled garlic clove in the press, and it came out looking exactly like you see in the picture above. It was easy to remove the peeling left behind. The only difficult part is that it sometimes requires a strong hand to make this press work correctly. It has gotten easier as I have used it more, but it is a bit stiff in the beginning.

Ive thought about purchasing a garlic press. It is so tedious finely chopping garlic and the residual smell on my hands after is not my favorite.

This looks great I have had some poorly made garlic presses but this looks like it would hold up for a while. Thanks for the review.

I too, usually buy the jar and keep in the fridge. I think I’m interested in using this. Fresh is the best. I also like that it’s stainless and wont corrode. Nice review, I like it.
