I am one who believes in doing everything possible to be healthy. I take several supplements of various kinds on a regular basis, and I had heard about taking coconut oil but never tried it. So I took three capsules, and things were fine for a couple days until I got terrible gastronomical discomfort. It was manageable, but I wondered what was going on. I realized that this product was the only thing I was taking that was different. Once I stopped taking them, I was fine within about a day. I then cut back on my dosage, and I was fine for another couple days. I know this sounds like a pattern. I was honestly concerned, and I was ready to contact the company.
Instead, I went online and did some research. Some people really do struggle with taking coconut oil. And I happen to be one of them. And evidently I am one of them. According to the research I found, the discomfort does go away as your body gets used to it. So that brings me to my first recommendation. Don’t start out with three–work your way up to three. Although I like this product–the pills were easy swallow–I have passed it onto someone who does not suffer from sensitivities like I do.
