Helping Your Kids Sleep Better at Nighttime

Many children experience anxiety about going to bed on their own. They may be frightened of sleeping in their own rooms alone. They also may want to sleep in their parents’ bedrooms. When you want to teach your children to sleep on their own instead of in your room, it is important that you make them feel safe and secure. Kids typically feel more secure when they are tucked into bed and feel like they are being hugged. You can give your kids this hugging sensation when you buy sleep aids like a weighted blanket and other comfort items.

Security and Comfort

It is well-known that infants like to be swaddled in blankets. The snug fit of the blanket makes it feel like they are still being held by their mothers. Many kids do not outgrow this desire to be snuggled in a blanket for quite some time. In fact, some adults even still like to be cocooned in a blanket while sleeping.

If your own children struggle to fall asleep because they want to be close to you, you may be able to provide them the comfort and security they need with a blanket that has a comfortable weight to it. The added weight makes it feel like you are hugging them. It also reminds them of being swaddled and tucked into bed. This kind of blanket could be ideal to use if you allow your child to fall asleep in your bed before you move him or her to a bed in another room. The weight of the blanket could keep the child asleep and make it feel like he or she is still in your bedroom.

The blanket could also work to comfort children who are sick and need a bit of extra soothing. Sick children typically want their parents close by until they feel better. The weight could replace your hand on your child’s back so that you can go to your own room and get some sleep.

Ordering in Bulk

When parents find a sleeping aid that works, they typically want to have as many on hand as possible. You can order in bulk by following the directions on the website.

You can also connect with the company on social media. The social media accounts give testimonies from other buyers.

Your children need a good night’s sleep. You can make them feel secure with a blanket that has extra weight added to it.

When my oldest daughter was a baby she had a dinosaur & a blanket but she only liked rubbing the tags. Every night I would lay her down and she didn’t want to be messed with at all, she would just lay there rubbing the tag.

very interesting article..My grandsons ( twins) tend to have a hard time settling in at night..and often a hand on the back..or a light hand on the back of the head is enough to comfort them to fall asleep…but I also like the blanket idea…

When my kids were young I always let them pick out a stuffed animal to sleep with and a book for me to read to them. This ritual always made them relax and get comfortable for a good night’s sleep.
