In case you were unaware,  today is National Dog Day, and FandangoNOW has the perfect way to celebrate.

Come check out the list–expertly curated by Fandango’s Managing Editor, Erik Davis and his dog. Grab your favorite pooch and come check out these great dog films!

“These films remind us of the adventure, camaraderie and heroic spirit of our best friends. Children envision their pets to be larger than life,  and these movies remind us why dogs were and continue to be  so special. LADY AND THE TRAMP is my fave, because I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and seeing those long floppy ears on LADY makes me smile and warms my heart.  When I watch these movies, I feel a universal connection to dog owners that brings back a nostalgic happiness of sharing my life with my dog.” Erik Davis

I don’t know why most dog movies make us cry. Must see is Hachi: A Dog’s Tale, and 8 Below. Those are the best dog movies! Both based on real life dogs, you kids will love these movies also!
