This Day in History May 8, 1976
I am somewhat of a roller coaster aficionado, and it was on this date in 1976, that the first roller coaster with a vertical loop, the Revolution, opened at Magic Mountain in California. It has been too long since I have been tnere, so I do not recall if I ever rode this.
