babyganics sunscreenI am always happy to review products that are natural and effective.  I have worked with BabyGanics before, and when they offered for me to review another of their products, I happily jumped at the chance.  All they asked was that I would give my honest opinion in exchange for the product, and I agreed to their terms.

First of all, I don’t have a baby at home, but I have a child.  And I don’t mind trying out products that are intended for babies or kids.  After all, I think if it works well for me, it ought to work well for babies and kids, right?  It took our summer a long time to come, so I have only been using this product for a few weeks.  I always wear sunscreen on my face, and so I decided to use this as my primary sunscreen.

This BabyGanics Cover Up Baby Pure Mineral Moisturizing Sunscreen Lotion 30+SPF not only protects your little ones against the harsh broad spectrum UVA/UVB rays of summertime, but it also moisturizes all the exceptionally well. Pediatricians and dermatologist have tested and approved this mineral-based lotion, and it retains its waterproof and SPF qualities for up to 80 minutes – even after all the fun water sports! With easy application, this lotion is the best in targeting all of the key areas of protection. It is available in a 4oz. tube, and it retails for $10.99.  You can be purchase it at Babies R Us, Buy Buy Baby, Babiesrus.com and Diapers.com (as well as other online retailers).

So what did I think?  Well, I used it on my face, and I loved the way it felt every morning I used it.  I never got sunburned nor even tanned.  I have extremely fair skin, and I burn easily.  I do have a daughter, but I honestly didn’t use this on her.  She prefers spray-on or rub-on sunscreen.  So I did a little experiment.  I let her use a leading brand, and I used the BabyGanics.  We were in sunny Eastern Washington last week, and I wore several tops that were sleeveless.  I used this sunscreen exclusively while my daughter used the other kind.  My skin never felt greasy, and it protected well in spite of my sweat.  I remember looking at my daughter’s face while we were out, and her face looked greasy and had beads of sweat all over it.  My face never did.  I actually could see the sunscreen with the sweat on her face, but that never happened with mine.

This little experiment convinced me that BabyGanics is a quality product that it worth the price.  It works well for children and adults alike.  They have a whole range of products for every need.  Be sure to check them out online and at your favorite retailer.  And for the best deals and latest news, be sure to follow them on social media:

I was sent a free product from the company in exchange for my honest opinion.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
