Nintendo

In the gaming world, it is clear that Nintendo is one of the leaders.  I remember that they were almost the standard in the new game systems.  And on this date in 1985, the Nintendo Entertainment System first went on sale in Japan (from what I can tell, this is accurate).  Unfortunately, what began so well didn’t seem to continue due to some glitch.  In October of that year, it began showing up in the U.S.  Thankfully for Nintendo, this came at the right time because some very poorly constructed game systems had turned the market towards other systems.
