This lady certainly lived a short, but exciting life.  Alison Hargreaves becaeme the first woman to climb Mt. Everest without supplementary oxygen.  This was the year that she climbed the three tallest mountains in the world.  In addition to Mt. Everest, she climbed K2 and Kangchenjunga.  It was June of that same year that she climbed K2, and she did not live to return from that particular climb.  There was a storm on the mountain, and it would appear that she was blown off the mountain during a storm.
