Blogging Challenge (Catch-Up) January 26: Flexibility

For as long as I can remember, flexibility has never been a “strong suit” of mine. I’ve struggled with balance, rhythm (in my body especially), and strength. While I’ve done little things over the years to try to correct these, nothing really “stuck…”

UNTIL NOW!

First of all, not to “beat a dead horse,” but my rebounder has totally revolutionized my life and has strengthened so many muscles!!

Secondly, I do regular strength training every day, and recently I have noticed a difference.

I can do regular push-ups now, not just “girl” push-ups. I can’t do more than about ten in a row, but that’s better than what I’ve ever been able to do!

I can do burpees now! No, I can’t do them super-fast. I’ve dreaded these exercises for so long that it’s nice to realize I CAN do them now!

My balance is improving. I still don’t have the best balance at all times, but my strength is continuing to improve!
