The year of 2016 has been a year of transitions, and my information for the year is not completely accurate. I truly only have complete statistics for approximately half of the year, but something tells me that this is fairly accurate. So enjoy my “Top 10 Posts of 2016!”

10. Harvest Moon Hallmark Movie Review
Coming in at number ten for the year is my review of a movie that first premiered on the Hallmark Channel over a year ago! Harvest Moon brings back so many fond memories. It was the first movie I reviewed at the request of Jesse Hutch. I had been following his work since Cedar Cove, and when I mentioned how much I was looking forward to the film, he mentioned how he was looking forward to my thoughts. I was unable to preview the film, but shortly after watching it, I gave a pretty extensive review of it. And now I can say that I have met this distinguished, humble, humorous, talented, and kind man in person. I would probably write a MUCH better review of this film now.
It is also the film that connected me to Willie Aames. I recently interviewed him, and I even met his wife when I was in Vancouver last month. They are a wonderful couple whom I consider great friends, and I look forward to continuing my support of them as actors and people.
I also connected with Natasha Burnett as a result of this film, and when I was with Starry Mag earlier this year, I did interview her. Oh, and I’ve interviewed Lilah Fitzgerald and will be publishing her interview very soon on my site! I am hopeful that one day, Jessy Schram will permit me to interview her as I adore seeing her on Once Upon a Time since my daughter and I are now fans of that show!

9. Debbie Macomber’s Dashing Through the Snow Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Review

Coming in at number nine is a movie from last Hallmark Christmas offerings, Dashing Through the Snow. This has been a favorite of mine, and this review is one that connected me with several actors. I was introduced to the amazing work of Meghan Ory (Oh, I wish I could figure out how to get an interview with her–I love her work in Chesapeake Shores and Once Upon a Time.). But I did get to interview Andrew Walker when I was at Starry Mag. I’m just awaiting his response to my recent interview requests, but no doubt, he’s been a busy guy.
Although the movie diverts some from the book, I adored the changes they made and the actors they cast. I also got to interview Aaron Craven, Enid-Raye Adams, and Tristan Shire (not listed in this review). I still enjoy getting to watch this movie when it comes on because everything just works. I am still pretty pleased with this review, and I am quite pleased to see it ranking so high in the top posts for this year!
8. Interview With Actor Jack Turner, My Summer Prince
At number eight is a bit of a surprise post for me. While I adored My Summer Prince, I would never have thought that people would still be checking out my interview with the lead, jack Turner. But all this time later, they still are. This is a memorable film for me as I interviewed the writer, Topher Payne (such a wonderful guy) and Peter Sullivan, the amazing director. I still have yet to get an interview with Taylor Cole (I hope I get to one day!), but Jack’s interview is a special memory that I am glad so many are still reading and enjoying all this time later.

7. Autumn Dreams Movie Review
This one really amazes me! It was posted back in October of 2015, and it comes in at number seven! Autumn Dreams was my introduction to the acting talents of Jill Wagner and Colin Egglesfield (I sure wish I could interview them both since this post is still so popular). The movie was sweet and well-done, but amazingly, I truly have no connections with any of the actors in the movie. So I guess this is a perennial favorite due to the fact that the acting is phenomenal, and the story is a bit different from the typical, run-of-the-mill Hallmark film. So glad to share this one!

Interview With Actor Brennan Elliott, “Flower Shop Mystery,” “UnREAL,” and More
Number six doesn’t really amaze me. This was my second interview with Brennan Elliott, and it is still one that I look back on fondly. After all, my very first interview was with this remarkable man, and I will definitely be interviewing him again very soon, I’m sure. But until then, I can look back fondly on the most impromptu interview I ever did. (When I said I picked up the phone and Brennan was on the other end, it’s absolutely true! It happened just like that!)
5. Christmas Land Hallmark Movie Review

Yet another offering from last year’s “Countdown to Christmas” comes in at number five–Christmas Land review. I have had the supreme joy of interviewing Nikki DeLoach recently, but not Luke Macfarlane as of yet. However, this one is a true joy due to the fact that we get to see such icons as Maureen McCormick and Richard Karn. And the story is sweet and exactly what would be expected from a Hallmark Christmas movie. Last year, I believe this film was severely underrated. While you will have to wait until next year to see this gem again, feel free to check out this intriguing review.
4. Every Christmas Has A Story Hallmark Channel Movie Review

At the request of Willie Aames, I reviewed this film, and it was a treat to see Lori Loughlin (and her daughter) and Colin Ferguson together! This film was unique, and I wasn’t sure where it might end up in terms of fan interest, but it looks like it did exceptionally well. Now if I could just have the opportunity to interview Colin and Lori…
3. The Christmas Note Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Review
I cannot believe how many reviews are top posts this year! Coming in at number three is The Christmas Note. This was another offering from last year, but such a heartfelt and special film. Leah Gibson and Jamie Lynn-Sigler–what a lovely pairing, and I hope I have the opportunity to interview these powerhouse actresses soon. And I love seeing Lochlyn Munro playing a good guy for a change! Maybe I can twist his arm for an interview, but this movie is one of those gems that I love seeing every year! So check out the review if you’re interested.
2. Crown For Christmas Hallmark Movie Review
I’m not surprised that this review comes in at number two. Crown For Christmas has become a favorite that many are pushing for a sequel (that would be awesome), and who couldn’t love Danica McKellar? She has a film coming up soon as well–I would love to interview this energetic and beloved actress. It was only this year that I discovered that Michael and Janeen Damian came up with the story for this film (though they didn’t write it). While you may not get to watch this again until July (Christmas in July, remember?), enjoy this review!

Coming in at nearly 20,000 views is my interview with Hallmark “hottie” Paul Greene. Yes, it leads the pack this year, and this interview is over six months old! When I interviewed him, I had no idea he would be appearing in When Calls the Heart. His Christmas movie had just been filmed (A Wish For Christmas), and he honestly had nothing immediate. When I say that he initially granted me fifteen minutes, it’s true. But this generous man gave me much more than that. I used this interview to promote his charity event coming up, but as you can see, the interview has continued to have people flocking to read this interview. In fact, this is one of the only interviews that Bill Abbott (president of the Hallmark network) personally retweeted. Indeed, Paul Greene is one of the nicest guys in the business, and he is very fan-friendly. I will probably attempt to interview him again soon. I wonder if a new interview would surpass the popularity of this interview! True fact–the three leading ladies of Hallmark with whom he has appeared have yet to grant me an interview, but no matter. That will come in time. For now, I am so pleased with this interview and proud and honored to have featured him on my site.
