How many times have you gone into an old (or sometimes new) building and admired the workmanhip of the stained glass windows displayed all around you? I know I have. I always think of cathedrals and old churches as having these lovely pieces of artwork, but sometimes homes and other business have them, too. There is something enchanting that gives the place an aura of old-world charm to the room or rooms in which they are highlighted.

I did used to wonder about the cost and reparation of such windows. If I were to purchase a building with such artwork displayed as windows, would I be able to afford the upkeep? I am glad to know that there businesses that make it their priority to repair such windows in order to make it worth the price of having these gorgeous works of art. I had never even thought about how or if these windows could be repaired, but I’m grateful to know someone did.

When you are in the market to repair your stained glass or leadlight windows, be certain that you do your research. The last thing you want to do is give your hard-earned money to a place that won’t do a superior job. It would behoove you to check out the reputation of the place as well as any testimonials. In fact, if they have a photo gallery which demonstrates their craftmanship, be sure that you do your research carefully and take all the time you need to before hiring a company to do the repair work. In the end, the toil, money, and time you invested will give you a sense of satisfaction when you look at the finished product.

My husband made stain glass items. He loved making things. Stain glass is very pretty.

I LOVE stained glass, but you bring up a good point. I would imagine they do take some maintenance, I just never thought about it. My father-in-law does stained glass and has different pieces through the house. Just stunning.
