Pilgrim's ProgressThere may some discrepancies in the date, but this seems like the best date for today’s feature. On this date in 1678, John Bunyan’s best-loved work Pilgrim’s Progress, was published. I have had the privilege to read the original and another couple of versions of this book, and I highly recommend it. Once you realize that Bunyan wrote this while imprisoned.  It is considered one of the greatest work of Christian/church literature.

1 Peter 2:11 ESV

Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.
