Neil Gaiman Quotes on Life and Writing

Since I am a writer and I am always wanting to improve myself, quotes that focus on writing and life are always welcomed. I have found that quotes by Neil Gaiman are especially insightful.  We are still early in 2015, and the way I look at it, it is never too late nor too soon to make improvements in one’s life. I do not put a lot of credence in New Year’s resolutions, but I believe in small, attainable goals from week to week or day to day.

The reason I find this particular quote so inspiring is that writing is emphasized. As this is the year that I hope to start writing more in earnest with aspirations to be published in the near future, this spoke to me.  Reading outside my comfort zone is another thing that I know can only serve to make me a better writer. Probably the hardest thing on this list is finishing things. I sometimes start things with a lot of excitement and then decide to stop before they are ever completed. May this be the year that does not happen.

I invite you to check out more of the quotes on this page as I believe there is something for everyone there. And remember, it’s never to late nor too early to make improvements in your writing and/or your life.
