Knowing Is Not EnoughKnowing Is Not Enough by Patricia Walker Chatman

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

When I began this book, I did not fully comprehend the journey I would make as I followed Alex on her journey of true love. Since the narrative was written from her perspective, I was not privy to every incident along the way. At times, I found myself shaking my head at misguided Alex and marveling over the fact that she had no concept of the true meaning of love. Unequivocally, this book deserves a 3.5 rating, and I surmise that most women who adore contemporary romances would find this book delectable.

As far as content, the book takes you to the bedroom without being erotic or too detailed. There is some profanity, but most of it is not overly offensive. Thankfully, it is not massively overused within the story. I am grateful that the author did reveal that love is more than physical attraction, but I wish Alex would have learned her lesson a bit sooner.

My supposition is that the lion’s share of women will be able to identify with Alex on her true love sojourn. While I would not have considered participating in some of the activities she did, the author does point out how easy it is to participate in the same activities one has criticized previously.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
