Mickey and Minnie Mouse 1961
A very special day in Disneyland history occurred.  On this date in 1961, Disneyland welcomed its 25 millionth visitor.  Disneyland had only been open six years, and they treated this visitor, Dr. Glenn C. Franklin and family of San Diego, to a private guided tour, unlimited access to the attractions, and a table of honor at a special luncheon.
