YOUR RIGHT ANSWER… MIGHT BE WRONG! THINK AGAIN!, a party game by veteran designers Bruno Cathala and Ludovic Maublanc (well know for Cyclades and Dice Town successes), for 3 to 10 players, ages 10 and up.

THINK AGAIN! is simple, but tricky. Each turn, a reader asks a very easy questions to the other players. At the same time, the reader reveals the back of the next card that tells the players to give the right or wrong answer. For example, if the reader asks, “What  color is milk?” and shows you a  “Wrong” sign, answer fast with “Blue!” or “Green!” But whatever you do, don’t  say “White!” The first player to give the correct wrong answer scores 1 point. But you lose a point for the right answer!

THINK AGAIN!  contains 50 question cards (for a total of 300 questions!) and six rule cards for hours of laughs, wrong or right.

THINK AGAIN!

Board games are often something that is overlooked in this “digital age,” but there is really not much better than setting everything aside for an evening and playing a fun game like this.  My daughter, her friend, and I played this game on a Saturday evening, and it was a simple but engaging game.  All we needed was a piece of paper and a pen for keeping score.

I will warn you–adults will probably beat kids on this game.  I actually stepped out because I knew too much.  We also made some simple alterations to the game to make it flow better with our little group.

I learned a lot about my daughter and her friend by playing this game.  My daughter struggled with giving the wrong answer in order to get a point.  And her friend debated the answers just like a lawyer.  I had never seen that side of her quiet and respectful friend.  When a preteen girl is trying to explain why her answer is right (soccer players can hold their bags and wear gloves, so technically, they can hold something in their hands–major over-thinking!), it is truly an unusual experience that most adults will probably not experience.

My favorite thing about the game is that it can be set up easily, and the players have a lot of control over the length of the game.  It doesn’t require any special space nor equipment in order to play.  I highly recommend this game!
