Let me begin by saying that we have thirteen cats.  That’s right.  We have had more than that, but some have moved on.  Most of the cats are former feral cats that my daughter and I have worked very hard to tame.  They are not too picky when it comes to food.  They can’t afford to be.  Of the thirteen cats, we have a core group of about eight that spend a lot of time inside.  We are willing to spend more on the food that these “somewhat indoor cats” eat.  And they know it!

I was sent a fantastic product from PetFoodDirect.com called Royal Canin.  Even though we have no thoroughbreds, we have cats that have the features of Persian as well as other cats.  This food was high quality, and the flavors sounded really good.  And the cats agreed.  They liked this food so well that they cleaned their dishes up.  Let me explain that.  Generally, they leave some cat food behind, but they did not with this brand.

While our cats made quick work of this food, I know they enjoyed it, and they were sad to see it end.  I am grateful to know that it is available for purchase at the following links, and I will certainly look into more of their products in the future.  There are times that it makes sense to pay for the “good stuff,” and our cats have become an important part of our lives.  We would like for it to remain that way for some time.  Be sure to check out all their offerings below.

    Hi Ruth,

You have such a big heart! Giving 13 cats safety and comfort of a house is not easy, this is a huge responsibility that you have taken upon yourself. Kudos to you and your family.
