I am so pleased to be able to tell you about something called the Elite Little Dog Bark Control.  Permit me to preface this review by saying that we have a large dog, and so this did not work as well as the large dog bark control collar would have.  I can still give this a fair and balanced review.

The packaging and setup were extremely easy on this product, and I couldn’t have been happier.  I thought it would be really hard to put on our dog.  I was even concerned that since it was for a little dog that it wouldn’t fit around our big dog’s head.  But it did–right along with her regular collar.

Piper

My dad was very much against this collar.  He was sure that it would harm her.  It only uses a static correction that can best be described as annoying.  It took my sister-in-law’s convincing powers for him to finally accept it.  I like the fact that if she keeps barking, it will increase the intensity.

So, how well did it work?  Well, Piper is a 3-year-old dog who likes to bark.  She barks at whatever she can in the yard–the cats, the goats, shadows–who knows what else?  This collar began to work right away.  I could hear that the tone of her barking was different, and she didn’t bark much more than just a couple of times.  I was quite impressed with this product.  In the beginning, it was the answer to everything.

The problem we have is that she got used to it.  I think that even though this collar is intended for dogs that weigh up to 55 pounds, Piper needs the next size up.  While it still somewhat controls her barking, it does not work as well as it used to.  But I still give this a stellar review and recommend it highly!  In fact, I am looking at their other products to see if we can find a better solution.
