This Day in History December 8, 1952

No matter how many times I watch I Love Lucy, there are certain episodes that I never tire of.  It was on this date in 1952, that this show got past the censors with an episode called “Lucy Is Enceinte.”  They could not use the term “pregnant,” but it was finally decided for Lucy to be able to have a baby and follow her pregnancy on the show.  It was so neat to watch this portion of the show again since it reminded me of how much in love Lucy and Desi were back then.  Granted, they had a difficult marriage, but there were times that their love truly showed through.
