Note:  I was sent free products for review purposes.

butterfly bakerySince I am one who does watch my sugar intake as well as my calorie intake.  I am willing to sacrifice some taste if necessary, but I still prefer for my desserts to taste good.  They don’t have to be exactly like the original, but when I want a treat, I want something that tastes like a treat!

Since its inception in 1998, Butterfly Bakery has created fantastic desserts and bakery items that are sugar-free, gluten-free, and more.  They were made with diabetics in mind, and in spite of the time invested and vast experimentation, the company has developed desserts that are worth that time and energy.

I got to try their Angel Food Cake  and Blueberry Muffin Loaf.  My mom and I thoroughly enjoyed these on more than one occasion, and I never would have known that either were healthier versions of the  original. The angel food cake was fluffy and even better with sugar-free whipped cream!  I would love to try it in the summer when berries are in season.  The Blueberry Muffin Loaf was also so decadent!

Coming from one who eaten sugar-free desserts for years, you can be assured that I am telling you the truth.  These are some of the best healthy desserts I have ever tried, and I would eat them again in a heartbeat.  When you check them out online, be sure to follow them on facebook for the latest news and deals.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
