pedometerI was sent a free product in exchange for my honest review.   All opinions are solely my own.

I am addicted to exercise.  I know  that sounds strange especially when you look at my history.  I have a history of being overweight and obese, and  I have been able to maintain my weight after losing somewhere around 50 pounds or so.  Yes, I still have weight to lose (nothing like a teenager asking if you are pregnant to remind you that you have not arrived!), and I am always curious about how many calories I have actually burned.

I was sent the Ozeri 4x3runner Digital Pocket 3D Pedometer for review, and I kept forgetting to open it and use it!  And now after using it, I can’t believe what I am missing.  I remember a free pedometer I was sent once, and I even had a talking pedometer.  I thought that was great, but I grew tired of it.  This pedometer is a complete upgrade.

Here are some of the features:

  • Records daily steps (walking or running), distance, speed, calories, the fat burned and exercise time with the world’s most advanced Tri-Axis technology.
  • Designed for ultimate versatility, the 4x3runner is the world’s first pedometer to feature dual walking and running modes with 3D Tri-Axis Sensor (X, Y, Z plane detection) that provides superior accuracy in any position.
  • New Steps2Goal feature tracks and calculates your steps toward your daily target and displays your progress.
  • Counts up to 1 million steps with built-in memory for 30 days of activity. Also features a Clock, Calendar & Sports Timer and Auto Sleep Mode technology.
  • Used by professional athletes, the water-resistant 4x3runner boasts a slim design that fits in any pocket and large easy-to-use buttons. 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed.

I will not lie–I have not used all the features yet.   And I actually struggled to get the pedometer working.  I wish there had been something included that said you needed to open the back and pull the plastic tab out so the battery started working.  Maybe that was in the directions, but I did not see it.  Once I figured that out (so glad I didn’t have to use a screwdriver to open the back), this pedometer worked like a charm.  I set everything up by just following the directions.  I look forward to using this at the gym because it is small and seems to be pretty accurate.  I don’t do a lot of walking or running, but I am anxious to see how well it does when using the machines at the gym.

I appreciate  the bright display, and the buttons are easy to see and use.  Setting my goals will be a really good thing because I sometimes don’t push myself enough.  Tracking for 30 days sounds good, too.  I highly recommend this pedometer, and I plan to use it for years to come!

I was sent a free product in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

Great to see that you enjoy the Ozeri. Pedometers have come a long way in the recent years, and the Ozeri are great models for their price. Definitely accurate for people walking, jogging or running, and I have heard they are most accurate when worn around the neck. Keep up the work walking, and on your journey of becoming healthier!
