I was provided with a complimentary sample of the product for review purposes.

PrevagenPrevagen (pronounced “prev-uh-gen”) is a brain health supplement that was developed by Quincy Bioscience.  It’s purpose is to help improve memory and promote clear thinking. Prevagen’s main ingredient is a new use for a well-known protein called “apoaequorin” which was originally found in a certain species of jellyfish.

As we age, the body’s ability to produce essential proteins slows down. When this happens you begin to lose about 30,000 brain cells every day, and we may start to experience difficulty with memory, focus and concentration. Apoaequorin has been clinically tested and shown to supplement these proteins during the natural process of aging and improves brain health and overall memory.

In 2012, Prevagen became the number one selling brain health supplement in chain drug stores across the country, and continues to remain on top. Prevagen is available in health food stores and pharmacies nationwide including Walgreen, CVS, Rite Aid, and Vitamin Shoppe.

Prevagen is safe and effective. If you use the product daily for 30-90 days, you should be able to notice the effectiveness.

One might wonder why I chose to review a product that promotes memory.   Well, my family does have some history of Alzheimer’s and/or dementia.   My great-grandfather definitely had some kind  of memory loss before his death (even I remember that), and my dad has been thought to possibly have some kind of memory issues.  For these  reasons, I want to do all that I can to keep my memory sharp and possibly keep my brain from succumbing to these kinds of issues.   I am nearing 40, and I know that my memory is not what it once was.  Anything I can do to keep my brain at its finest sounds good to me.

I have been taking this product for regularly for about a month.  I’m going to say that I don’t notice any changes, but this is one of the products that takes time to be able to see the effects.  Additionally, since I am not experiencing memory loss at this point, I have no way of knowing whether this product is helping me or not.  But even though I cannot notice any results, it doesn’t negate the fact that this is a good, natural product that is easy to use and has been proven effective.  I am grateful that only one pill is required per day because some of these products do require more.

I am also grateful that the company provided me with a complimentary copy of The Brain Health Guide. This is an area that I appreciate all the information and support I can get.

Be sure to check out this product and follow them on facebook if you like them!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
