I am giving away : a special surprise Halloween box (no hints here, but it will be Halloween-related). In addition to this, I am giving you a great prize package from Gorton’s.  That’s right.  With the Halloween season upon us and school back in session, I have found Gorton’s to be a great dinner on busy nights. I was sent a great prize package in exchange for my honest opinion about their products.  Here is what I was sent.

  • 5 full-value product coupons to purchase any combination of the following suggested items: Fish Sticks, Crunchy Breaded Fish Fillets, Crispy Battered Fish Fillets, Original Batter Tenders, Beer Battered Tenders, Potato Crunch Fish Fillets, Lemon Herb Fish Fillets and NEW Fish Sandwich Fillets
  • 1 incredibly adorable Fisherman USB with all the assets you need for your review
  • 1 Gorton’s-branded ship wheel keychain
  • An assortment of Gorton’s recipe cards and beautiful seaside/Gorton’s postcards

I used their fantastic coupons to try their Fish Sticks and Skillet Crisp Garlic Herb Tilapia.  We have tried their fish sticks in the past, and they can’t be beat (even when you overcook them like I did tonight).  They are real fish (as opposed to minced fish), and you can have six sticks per serving. New for us was this product. Skillet Crisp Garlic HerbYou can make this in your skillet, but I chose to make it in the oven.  And the four of us ate them.  Here were our thoughts (as we were somewhat divided).  My daughter and I enjoyed the fish, but we felt that it could have had better flavor.  My mom and dad truly enjoyed this!  My mom does not like fish, but she said this was the mildest fish she had tried.  And my dad said it was probably the best fish he had ever had. So in addition to the surprise box, you can win the following: three $2 off product coupons, 1 Gorton’s-branded ship wheel keychain, an assortment of Gorton’s recipe cards and beautiful seaside/Gorton’s postcards. In addition to the giveaway here on my blog, Gorton’s would like to invite you to enter the “Wicked Good Food Seafood Contest.” Be sure to enter the rafflecopter below for my giveaway!

I love to bring in the fall by decorating the front yard, and cooking with more pumpkin, and hay rides and the visiting pumpkin patches. Fall is my favorite time of year!
