Choose to Be NiceI am so pleased when I get invited to review products that have positive messages like this one.  All the company has asked is that I give my honest opinion in exchange for the free product.  And that I will certainly do!

Choose To Be Nice is a movement dedicated to inspiring and encouraging kindness. When we slow down and recognize what is nice in ourselves, we influence others to do the same. The goal of the movement is to build a community of nice people who will share what they do on a daily basis to be nice. To kick-start the movement, Choose To Be Nice has created t-shirts with the Choose To Be Nice logo. T-shirts are high quality and extra soft; made by American Apparel. Ten percent of all sales will go to non-profit organizations whose values align with Choose To Be Nice.

I was sent the black shirt with the words “Choose to Be Nice” on it.  I love the shirt, and the logo is nice and bright.  I first wore the shirt on the day that my daughter, my mother, and I went to see Taylor Swift’s music concert.  I have to admit no one really noticed the logo, but I knew I was wearing this shirt.  In my normal life. I do try to be nice and understanding with others.  In fact, if anything, I am often told that I am too nice.  And sometimes I do let people walk all over me, and I don’t believe that is what this movement stresses.

I wore this shirt again (don’t remember when), and it was a reminder to me and to those with whom I come in contact.  There are enough funny shirts, vulgar shirts, fan shirts, and all sorts of other designs.  We often wear shirts that have logos and designs that mean something to us.  And this shirt certainly means something to me.  Every day, we do have the choice about how we respond.  No one “makes” us mad nor forces us to do something we really don’t want to do.  The only way anyone can force us to do something is via violent threats.  And even then, we decide whether we will comply and keep living or not comply and risk punishment or death.  And honestly, most of the daily decisions we make are not life and death.

As a committed Christian, I believe that I can only be nice to some people with the help of God, and I rely on Him to help me daily.  I do make mistakes and lose my temper and say unkind words just like most people do.  But the difference is that I have divine help to aid me in my quest to choose to be nice.

Be sure to check out this company on facebook and get in on this fantastic movement today!

I was sent a free product from the company in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
