The GasCheck Review

Gas Check logoI am constantly amazed at the amount of new products that are out there, and when the opportunity comes to try one out that interests me, I am always happy to do it.  All the company asked is that I give my honest opinion which is what I plan to do.

Let’s talk about cooking outside on a gas grill.  I realize summer is coming to an end, but I will probably be grilling well into the end of September.  Actually we had some nasty weather, and I was unable to use our grill, and so trying out the product that was sent to me was rather challenging,  That is until the summer returned for a while!  I was so glad it did.

During the summer, I grill out on our propane grill as often as I can.  It is an old gas grill.  In fact, it needs to be replaced, but we are trying to make this one last as long as we can.  The main irritation is that the igniter no longer works–I have to start it with matches.  I tell you this so you realize that the product I am using will work on ANY propane gas grill.  It does not have to ultra modern or anything like that.

I used to check the gas tank in the old-fashioned way.  I was always taught to feel the tank and decipher where the “coolness” is felt in the tank.  That will tell you how far the gas is down.  I have to admit that I never put a lot of stock in that particular method.  Furthermore, I never thought of doing that this summer.

I was preparing to grill one day, and I had no problem getting the gas started.  The fire was going well.  And then the unthinkable happened.  I had my food all ready to go, and the fire was out!  That’s right–the propane was gone.  So I had no choice but to grill inside on our indoor grill.  I was not having a good day.

Shortly after this, I was sent the GasCheck.

I was hoping that it would work as well as it said it would.  I immediately thought of how I wish I had access to this tool a few weeks earlier!  We now had a fairly full gas tank, and I decided it was the time to use this new tool.  I read the instructions, and I truly marveled to think that the tool was that easy to use.

And so I did what it said.  I had no trouble putting it on the side of the gas tank like it said, and the light worked perfectly!  Right away, I was able to tell how full the gas tank was, and all the guess work was gone.

It is honestly that easy.  I thought that the tank might be too dirty or something wouldn’t work, but the green light and red light worked exactly as they said it would.  I announced to my mom that this was a tool I wish had been created years ago.  Finally, I can tell easily how much gas is left in the tank, and I plan to use this year after year.

So if you like to use your propane grill, or you know someone else who does, I highly recommend this product.  Be sure to check out their site (see link above) and follow them on social media for the latest news and deals.
