Ozeri panThis review opportunity could not have come at a better time.  My former pan was completely worn out, and I needed a new one.  The company agreed to send me a pan in exchange for my honest review which I will share below.

The pan the was sent to me was the Ozeri 10″ Stainless Steel Earth Pan featuring ETERNA — a safe and natural non-stick developed in the USA.  This pan is the world’s only stainless steel frying pan to achieve non-stick perfection without using PFOA — a harmful chemical used in all traditional cookware. Conventional pans achieve their non-stick performance with the aid of PFOA (PerFluoroOctanoic Acid), which the EPA has classified as a ‘persistent pollutant of the environment’. According to the EPA, once ingested PFOA is capable of remaining in people for a very long time, and has been shown to cause developmental and other adverse effects in laboratory animals. With the Stainless Steel Earth Pan’s ETERNA coating, even under high temperatures, no harmful substances are ever released into the environment. This is because the Stainless Steel Earth Pan utilizes a completely safe and environmentally friendly coating developed in the USA. The Stainless Steel Earth Pan’s non-stick coating is completely free of PFOA, and far more durable and scratch-resistant than other non-stick surfaces. With better non-stick properties, the Stainless Steel Earth Pan Earth Pan allows you to sauté, fry, bake, boil and braise with as little as half the amount of oil normally used, and cleaning is a breeze. The Stainless Steel Earth Pan by Ozeri is made of the highest quality 18/8 stainless steel with TriPly construction, delivering the ultimate in heat conductivity for even cooking and browning without hot spots. It boasts a magnetized bottom for rapid heat transfer on induction stoves, and a polished mirror exterior.

Earlier this week, I had the perfect opportunity to try this pan.  And I could not have been happier!

Ozeri with porkThere were several things I really enjoyed about this pan.  I was able to fit six small pork chops in the pan.  I have never been able to do that with a 10-inch pan before.  In addition to this, the meat cooked evenly.  Nothing stuck to the pan.  I realize that only time will show me how well this pan holds up over time, but I certainly enjoyed my first experience.

The thing I appreciate the most about this pan is that it is nonstick without using that awful nonstick coating that most pans have used as long as I can remember.  They used to say that the Teflon coating was the best, but then the experts said that the coating was unhealthy and possibly lethal.  It gives me peace of mind to know that I have a superior pan that is still nonstick without the harmful chemicals.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
