Mira Digital Scale

Kitchen scales are something I have never enjoyed using, but this one looked so nice that I was excited to use it when the company contacted me.  All I was required to do was give my honest opinion.

First of all, here are some necessary details about this digital scale.  It is a MIRA Digital kitchen scale with a stainless steel bowl.  That is something I have never used before, but there was even more to this wonderful item.  You can combine ingredients accurately with this easy-to-use digital kitchen food scale from MIRA Brands. With an 11 lb capacity, an easily readable large display with blue back light, tare function and a large mixing bowl, the MIRA ST95 food scale/kitchen scale is equipped with 4 high precision sensors to give you an accurate reading every time. With the ST95 you will get a 9.6 inches/ 24.5 cm wide stainless steel mixing bowl to help you weigh flour, baking ingredients or anything that will fall off a plate. As this food scale has a Tare function you can also zero out the bowl and contents and weigh whatever you need. This food scale can measure in grams, ounces and pounds.

I was making dinner the other evening, and I figured it was time to give this little scale a try.  We had one in the past, but it had no bowl or any other container like that.  The only problem I ran into was when I first turned the scale on.  It had some really weird reading, so I quickly turned it off, and everything was back to normal.  I lined the bowl with paper towels, and I made sure that everything was set at zero.  I figured I knew what one pound of chicken breast was, but I was soon proved wrong!  I finally found two chicken breasts that were close enough, but had I “eyeballed” it, I would have been wrong!

As a result of this, I plan to use this scale more often for cooking.  I had yet to use it for baking, but there has been no need.  This is a wonderful scale, and it is good to point out that there is a full warranty on the stainless steel bowl.   I really don’t think you can go wrong with this fantastic kitchen scale, and I am so glad that I own it!  I plan to use it for many years to come.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

This is so right. I didn’t realize the need of a kitchen scale before. But when I’ve started blending fruits and veggies for my shakes and smoothies, my scale became my best companion. I use it for cooking too.
