Inspiration
Hey there lovely people and Happy Monday to you! I hope you are having a fantastic day, wherever in the world you may be.
It’s that time of the week once more – when we aim to inspire and uplift. This week I wanted to share with you an exclusive sneak peek blog post from my newest venture – The Curiously Gorgeous Sisterhood. This is one of my recent blog posts from the site, which also links to an exclusive podcast from the sisterhood too.
Today, I’m giving you access to these as a little taste of what’s on offer over there. Also, I really wanted to share with you some of the sources of  inspiration I have shared over there. I really hope you enjoy this post and this little peak 🙂  So head over to A Cat-Like Curiosity to read what she has to say!

My inspiration today is actually the reason I am posting late.  That might sound strange, but just read on.
As a blogger, I participate in many blog giveaway hops, and I am always looking for sponsors so that I don’t have to sponsor my own giveaways.  I honestly do that all too often, and it can get a little pricey at times.  I thought I had the perfect giveaway that would match the theme.  And so although I posted a little late, I got it up and went to bed.
When I got up this morning, I received an e-mail telling me that I needed to change my sponsor or be removed.  Actually, I was late getting on this, so I had already been removed.  Honestly, this had never happened to me before.  I came up with something of my own, but then it still wasn’t good enough.  Trust me, I wanted to give up, but I knew that was not what God would have me do.  In the end, all was well, and I was added back into the giveaway hop.  I fulfilled my responsibility, but I was rather irritated.  I’m not going to bash anyone or anything.  I had to get over it or let it ruin my day.  I chose to get over it.  (Okay, say maybe I’m a little upset as I write this.)
Later on, I received an e-mail from another blogger, and it was just requesting information about my blog, and she was telling about her frustrations with a sponsor who backed out at the last minute.   I wished her the best when I sent back my information since she was talking about a new sponsor she was trying to line up.  I received an e-mail that was simple, professional, but had that personal touch that some bloggers lack.  She didn’t have to say anything, but she did.  And it absolutely made my day.  I initially deleted the e-mail, but then I decided that I needed to let her know what her e-mail (though small and “normal”) meant to me.   She responded later with a rather surprised but thankful e-mail.
I think all too often, we don’t stop and take the time to thank those who do something nice for us.  Maybe they are only doing their job, but I can assure you going the extra mile to tell them will brighten their day.  And I want everyone to know who this wonderful blogger is.
T.J. over at Measuring Flower is the one who made my world a little brighter this morning.  If you have never visited her blog, pay her a visit.  She does lots of reviews and giveaways, and I have decided that she has become one of my favorite blogs!

Now it’s time for our featured linker of the week. I really love that people come over here and link up each week with us, and as a little thank you I like to feature one of the lovely linkers whose post really spoke to me. Would you like to be featured? All you need to do is to link up below – I pick out a different post to feature every week. This week I’d like to feature this post on rebelling, but not in the way you might imagine. It’s often the case that we get too caught up in the material and we can’t really see the woods for the trees. Or we can’t see what is really important for all of the distractions of modern life.
