I am always on the hunt for comfortable, reasonably priced bras. And I am not kidding on that point. When the opportunity to review a bra that is billed as “the most comfortable bra in the world” became available, I naturally jumped at the chance. All they asked is that I give my honest opinion, which I was quite happy to do.
Let me begin by making it clear that I am not a large-busted woman. I consider myself about average, but things only began sagging once I had my daughter. For me, I like to wear a bra that is comfortable and able to provide some light support. I also prefer that the bra looks nice (even though I’m the only one who will see it) and adds some shape to my form. I used to wear underwire bras, but as I have gotten older, I tend to prefer bras without that.
For review purposes, I was sent a Coobie bra. Mine was black, and I was glad of that fact since I never seem to have enough black bras. Although this bra is a one-size-fits-all (it is available in regular and plus size), I found that this bra fit exceptionally well. I love the removable cups, and every time I wash it, I remove those cups. They are minimal, but they give me the exact shape I want. The straps are fully adjustable as well, and the fabric seems to breathe quite well. And, by the way, this bra looks nice. I was glad to see that it even looked nice after being washed a couple of times.
If I had to make one improvement, it would be the straps. The straps are fine, but they are small. I prefer my straps a little wider because they tend to stay in place better. For the first few times, my straps tended to get twisted. It seems that once I found the right setting, the straps didn’t bother me any more.
One other thing I like about this bra is that I don’t feel exposed when I wear it. The bra provides enough coverage that if certain parts of my chest become pointed, you can’t tell! Okay, that might sound silly, but pet peeve of mine is that some bras do not cover that problem area too well. This is a bra that I plan to buy in the future because the prize is reasonable as well. That has been another concern of mine when it comes to bras. I find a bra I like and then find that it costs $50 or more! Not so with the Coobie bra. I would say indeed that it is definitely one of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn.
