Well, this is certainly something that should capture our attention.  It was on this date in 2012 (just last year!) that Chris and Colin Weir became the biggest Euromillion lottery winners in history with a record £161 million!  They are a retired Scottish couple, and they became Scotland’s twenty-first richest citizens.  It boggles my mind to even wrap my mind around that sum.  I don’t play the lottery, and I seriously doubt I ever will.  The only way I would be if I were given the tickets as a gift.  But it’s nice to hear stories like this.

    I wonder if/how they are celebrating today! I don’t play either but wow, I really can’t even imagine what I would do with that much money! Sometimes I wonder if it wouldn’t be more of a burden than anything…

      I have to admit that I tend to think it would be. Everyone thinks that money will solve all their problems, but I think it often just adds to your problems!
