eye mask 2I will be honest.  My eyes have been a problem from me for almost as long as I can remember.  They get puffy, sore, and sometimes red.  When I was offered the chance to review an eye mask, I jumped at the chance.  All the company has asked from me is that I share my honest opinion in exchange for the product.

eye maskTHERA°PEARL’s Eye-ssential Mask is a product that can be used either hot or cold.  If you choose to use it cold, you place it in the freezer for at least two hours.  You then can use it to relieve puffy eyes, sinus headaches, and much more.  I only used mine as a cold pack.  If you choose to use it warm, you pop it in the microwave for the stated time in the instructions.  Once you are ready to use it, you strap it on your face, and you use it for twenty minutes.  It will stay in place, and there will be no leaking whatsoever.

I was quite pleased to relax with something so amazing.  Though frozen, the patented “pearls” are still pliable within the mask.  I strapped it on, and I will admit–it was too cold for me to keep on my eyes at first.  Possibly if a sinus headache had been present, maybe I would have been able to.  I had to take it off and let it warm up a bit.  I placed it back on after a couple of minutes, and I kept the mask on for around fifteen minutes.  The cold was very relaxing to me in general.  I felt as though I was pampering myself to the “nth” degree.

Once I removed the eye mask, I looked at my eyes and noticed that the puffiness that generally appears under my eyes (due to allergies and sleep) was greatly reduced–almost nonexistent.  This is a product that I plan to use in the future.  During the summer, the cold seems to feel good.  I would say that during the winter, the warm would be a welcome relief.  The eye mask appears to be quite sturdy, and I believe it will last for quite a while.
