Merlot Skin Care Review

I am always on the lookout for products that can help my skin be healthier, more moisturized, and look younger.  When I tried Merlot skin care products, I jumped at it!  All they have asked is that in exchange for the products that I provide my honest review–which I am doing in this post.

Merlot Grape Seed Skin Care is a company whose roots can be traced all the way back to a 60 Minutes episode over ten years ago.  There was a report on that show about a group of French people who drank red wine regularly and ate a diet high in saturated fat with no issues of heart disease.  Dr. Wayne Beckley, the founder of Merlot, researched this in great detail and discovered that the tie-in was the antioxidants in red grapes.  He further noted that grape seeds are much higher in antioxidants.  In 2001, he launched this company that uses grape seed to fight free radicals and protect skin from aging.

I had the privilege to try the following products:

Merlot Eye cream

The Grape Seed Eye Cream was my absolute favorite eye cream ever.  I know I have said this about other eye creams I have tried.  As I prepared to used this the first time, I figured I wouldn’t notice any real difference.  After all, there can’t be much difference between eye creams, right?  Wrong!  From the moment I put this on my fingers, I knew that this was the product my eyes needed.  I realize I am not quite 40, but my eyes are a part of my face I have concentrated on for a good share of my adult life.  I tend to get dry skin and wrinkles under my eyes, and I am always looking for a product to help with this area.  This  product went on very smoothly, and it instantly improved my eyes’ appearance.  Puffiness, wrinkles, and dry skin was a thing of the past, and I plan to continue to use this in the future.  There is something different about the grape seed, for sure.Merlot Lip Moisturizer

This product was a bit of a surprise for me.  I am not big on lip balms or moisturizers, and I have used one for quite some time.  Merlot’s Lip Moisturizer made my lips feel so good that I thought I was wearing some kind of moisturizing lip gloss or lipstick.  It went on easily, and when I wasn’t wearing it, my lips felt dry.  I found myself putting this on every morning whether I wore makeup or not.  It is comforting to know this has an SPF 15 included to protect your lips.

Merlot Night Cream

The Merlot Moonlight Radiance Night Cream was also a surprise.  I have tried all sorts of night creams, and I haven’t found that there is anything too different about them.  I have to say this was very different.  It has a very pleasant smell, and it moisturized my skin in a way that the normal night creams did not.  I got to where this was the only night cream I wanted to use it, and if I forgot it, my skin felt so dry.

In conclusion, I highly recommend all of these products, and I think Merlot has become my new favorite skin care company.  I may just have to try some of the other products in their line.  In order to keep up to date on all of their latest news and deals, be sure to follow them on facebook, twitter, pinterest, and sign up for their special newsletter.

I was sent products from the company in exchange for my honest review.  I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
