This Day in History May 29, 1948

It was on this date in 1848 that Wisconsin became the thirtieth state to be admitted into the United States.  This year is known as the year that “When America Came to Age.”  I don’t believe I have ever visited there–maybe one day I’ll see it for myself.

    I love living in Wisconsin and this was a fact about it I never knew! I will be moving again to a smaller town (Still in Wisconsin) To better views and great fishing on the mississippi!

    I have only been to Wisconsin once when i was 16 .I had so much fun that it will be a trip I will never forget. A house that took hours to go through,A house made of foam and so many other things. Iam not sure how it is now but it was a memorable trip. Fasanating information about wisconsin

    Love these day in history posts! So weird to think how young our country actually is. Thanks for this & all your other posts like it. May not always comment, but I really do love feeling like I learn something new every time I visit. =)
