Missions t-shirt

If you have followed my old blog, you know how much I support non-profit groups, especially Christian ones.  And it just so happens that this review is a bit different.  I was sent a shirt for review, but this is more of a promotion than a review.  Read on, and know that all opinions are completely my own.

You can see my daughter in the picture above, and she is modeling a very special t-shirt.  It has been sent to me as a promotion for an upcoming missions trip.  Gracie Beecher will be going on a worldwide missions trip from September 2013 through May 2014.  Her mother is working very hard along with her daughter to raise the necessary $12,000 in funds for the trip.  This t-shirt is just one way she is doing this.

Gracie Beecher will be leaving on a trip that will take her through Central America, Asia, and Africa.  She is going with Adventures in Missions,  and you can read more about her on her website.  You can either give towards her trip there or here.

You can see a better close-up of the shirt in this picture.  My daughter loves the shirt, and I do, too.  I was so impressed with this event that I just did give towards her trip.  Lest you think that I just give indiscriminately, I really don’t.  You can rest assured that everything is above-board.  This is a genuine organization, and the girl is really going.  I have gone on a missions trip–I went to Yemen several years ago, but that is another story–and I know how expensive it can be.  I would have struggled to go if people had not been willing to give.  It is an experience that changed me, and I can only imagine that this girl will have a life-changing experience as well.

I am pleased to be a part of this campaign, and I fully intend to pray for this girl (I really hope I can get updates), and I look forward to her being able to share the wonderful ways that God worked in her life and the lives of others when she gets back!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
