Any James Bond fans out there? Okay, I have never seen a James Bond film nor read a novel (didn’t know there was one). But I know the name–who doesn’t? It is such a part of our culture. And on this date in 1953, Casino Royale by Ian Fleming was published. Do you want to know how I know Ian Fleming? I read the book Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (the 1960’s movie of the same name was loosely based on this book). I had to look it up to make sure it was the same guy.
Anyway, we celebrate 60 years of James Bond today. I would love to hear any thoughts people have. Have you read James Bond novels or seen the films? Any recommendations?
